Liverpool played against Barcelona in the Champions League semi-finals. Ahead of the first leg, the Reds fan Anthony Mullen was filmed pushing a street seller into a fountain on Plaça Reial in Barcelona.
The first leg ended in Barcelona's 3-0 win, however Liverpool made a historic 4-0 comeback and reached the final, where they beat Tottenham 2-0 and were claimed as 2018/19 UCL champions.
It has been reported today that the Liverpool fan, who was arrested after the fountain incident, has been handed a three-year stadium ban.
The ban means that Mullen cannot enter any football stadium in the United Kingdom when a football match is being played for the next three years as well as he will serve a protective order which means he is not allowed within a one-mile radius of Anfield stadium four hours before kick-off and one hour after full-time.
Mullen is also not allowed to travel to any town on a matchday when Liverpool are playing an away game.
