Liverpool consider swoop for Denmark star, who netted against England

Liverpool have reportedly joined the race to sign Mikkel Damsgaard, one of the stars of Euro 2020. The 21-year-old was a key figure in Denmark's run to the semi-finals of this summer's tournament. And in the semi- finals Damsgaard netted the opener against England from a free kick. According to Gazzetta dello Sport, the Reds have expressed an interest in the Sampdoria youngster. However, the Serie A side are determined to keep hold of the Dane for at least another season.
