Fernando Torres has snubbed the A –league for the J-League.
The 34-year-old former Liverpool man left boyhood club Atletico Madrid and has penned a deal with Sagan Tosu.
Striker said: “We have had proposals from all continents, but my new team will be the Japanese Sagan Tosu.
“Sagan Tosu was one of the first clubs to be interested in me, they have convinced me with the sporting project.
