Lionel Messi voiced dressing room "disapproval" at Quique Setien after Real Madrid loss

Barcelona star Lionel Messi has reportedly shown his irritation about the club player's performance against Real Madrid by the riot act to Quique Setien after the 2 - 0 loss in El Clasico. Zinedine Zidane's side have celebrated their win over the Catalan giants due to Vinicius Junior and Mariano's goals. Setien had been appointed as Barcelona manager after the sacking of Ernesto Valverde back in January. The 61-year-old is an experienced coach, who had been in charge of Real Betis in the last two seasons. However, his tactics couldn't lead the team into a successful match against Real Madrid. And Spanish sports journalist, Eduardo Inda, has claimed on El Chiringuito TV what Messi told in the dressing room: "'That way you can't play [against] Real Madrid'. He [Messi] repeated it several times. The players looked at Setien, who has been quite upset about what he viewed as disapproval [from Messi]." Following the match, Setien had shared his thoughts on the defeat, saying: "We were clear about what we had to do. We had to wait for our moment and be patient and try to keep the ball. In the second half I can't understand why we started to lose the ball easily. We were able to breathe life back into Real Madrid. It was a shame we weren't to take the form of the first half into the second." After the El Clasico Barcelona are sitting on the 2nd place of the La Liga table one point behind their Catalan rivals. Their next league opponents will be Real Sociedad on Saturday.
