Lewis Hamilton wins Hungarian GP and equals Schumacher's record: "Great strategy"

Lewis Hamilton moved in to the world championship lead with a victory in the Hungarian Grand Prix. Valtteri Bottas failed in an attempt to pass Red Bull's Max Verstappen for a second. Hamilton now has a five-point championship lead over his team after three races. Moreover, his 86th career win means he ties Michael Schumacher's record of eight wins at one venue. "Round One had multiple different punches that I wasn't perhaps ready for but I refocused and the last two have been fantastic," said Hamilton. "This weekend, we've just been on point throughout so we need to try and keep this up. "Huge congratulations to everyone back home. Even more in the engine department. Honestly, it was one of my favourite races to race, even though I was out on my own. We had great pace. We had great pit stops, great strategy. Right at the end it was great to get on fresh tyres. We need to try and keep this up" Source: The Guardian
