Leicester City coach Brendan Rodgers has confirmed that James Maddison recovered from illness and is available to play.
Due to his illness, the 22-year-old midfielder missed the international duty with England, but in his pre-match press conference on Thursday, Rodgers announced he will be back:
“He’s fine,” said the Northern Irishman “He obviously had a knock leading into the Liverpool game and then he was ill while he was away with England. He came back, trained a few days, and he’s fine. He’s trained well today. Yesterday, he was getting back out and I expect him to be fit and ready. He was really comfortable, and I expect him to be fine.”
The Foxes’ upcoming fixture will be against Burnley on Saturday, in the frames of Premier League.
