LeBron James has continued to tease Los Angeles Lakers fans by calling out all of the NBA’s greatest players and encouraging them to join his team.
“Ask me if I would like to play with Kevin Durant. Absolutely,” James said.
“Ask me if I would Jimmy Butler. Absolutely. Kyrie Irving. Giannis [Antetokounmpo}. Ben Simmons. All of them. Luca Doncic. Ask me right now.
“Come on guys it is not rocket science, these are great players. I would love to play with a lot of great players, it is just who I am. People sometimes get caught up in bunches and want to control what you can say. But they can’t control it at all. And I play by the rules.”
The 33-year-old scored just 22 points but he is not concerned by his lack of numbers of the board.
“The shots are always there for me but I just play the game,” he added.
“I play the game the right way and try to feed the guys. I was drawing the defence and playing a few pockets passes to give my guys the ball. I always say for me, shooting the ball and scoring never dictates my game.”
