According to
CaughtOffside , Sevilla’s football director Joaquin Caparros has confirmed his club’s efforts to seal the transfer of Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata this January.
Caparros says that the forward is ready to make a move but Chelsea is holding up the transfer.
Playing in and out in the Premier League has proven too much for him, and it looks highly likely that he will leave the club this winter.
Goal recently reported of Morata’s talks with Sevilla, but claimed that Chelsea were looking for a replacement first.
It has been reported that Chelsea want to sign PSG striker Edison Cavani.
