Kylian Mbappe’s move to Liverpool does not seem realistic, despite the recent reports claiming the Merseyside club could sign PSG superstar in case Sadio Mane joins Real Madrid.
As reported by The Athletic, the potential move of the French international could cost Liverpool £300 mln. Premier League leaders are not willing to pay this price for the World Champion, who is also linked with a move to Real Madrid.
Besides, Sadio Mane does not have any intentions to leave Liverpool. The Senegalese international feels comfortable and happy in Merseyside and is keen to stay in the club for the future.
The talks about Mbappe’s possible transfer to Liverpool have become a hot topic for the media after the French national team star gave compliments to Jurgen Klopp’s team earlier this year.
“What Liverpool do at this moment is amazing. They’re like a machine, they’ve found a rhythm and are like ‘we play again, we play again’.” Mbappe said back in January (cited by the Daily Express).
Madrid is another possible destination for Kylian. According to the recent reports, Los Blancos were close to signing the 21-year-old forward before the coronavirus pandemic emerged. PSG are surely keen to keep their star, but everything could depend on Mbappe.
What is concrete for this moment is that £300 mln is not the price that Liverpool would pay for the player.
