Kylian Mbappe sends message to Chelsea over defender transfer failure

Kylian Mbappe has claimed former Chelsea target and current PSG star Achraf Hakimi is the 'best' right-back in the world amid the Blues' current wing-back injury issues. Hakimi decided to snub a move to west London in favour of a switch to PSG. But now the west London side has plnty of issues regarding defenders, with Reece James out with a long-term injury. The 23-year-old, who is currently on an international duty with Marocco, showed his world-class capabilities with his wonder free-kick strike against Malawi in the round of 16 at AFCON. His PSG teammate was quick to take to Twitter to lavish praise on Hakimi but at the same time, highlight the mistake Chelsea made in not trying to convince the player in question that their project was the right one for his career. Mbappe simply tweeted: "ACHRAF HAKIMI. BEST RB IN THE WORLD. GOOD NIGHT GUYS."
