Kevin de Bruyne has rated Belgium's chances of winning the World Cup 2022 in Qatar.
According to the Guardian, the Manchester City star is not hopeful of Mundial success for his side this year.
The Red Devils kicked the tournament with a narrow 1 - 0 victory against Canada on November 23. The 31-year-old, who was named the Player Of The Match, has admitted Belgium are 'too old' to have a chance of becoming the champions of the competition.
“I think our chance was 2018,” said De Bruyne. “We have a good team, but it is ageing. We lost some key players.
“We have some good new players coming, but they are not at the level other players were in 2018. I see us more as outsiders.”
De Bruyne and his team finished third at the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia after beating England with a score of 2-0.
