Kai Havertz has fired a warning to Liverpool after making his debut for Chelsea on Monday against Brighton. The Blues celebrated a 3-1 win over the Seagulls. Havertz, who signed for the Blues during this transfer window from Bayer Leverkusen, played 80 minutes.
Chelsea's upcoming game in the Premier League will be against the current title holders Liverpool on Sunday, September 20.
Speaking after the win over Brighton, Havertz said: ""Of course they are one of the best teams in the world.
"We show respect but we are a very great team as well.
"It will be a very hard game but for them also. We will work hard and I think we will have a chance to take points."
