Jurgen Klopp criticizes Liverpool midfielder after Arsenal trashing

Liverpool head coach Jurgen Klopp has criticized Fabinho’s first-half performance in Liverpool’s 5-1 victory over Arsenal at Anfield. Ainsley Maitland-Niles scored for Gunners but Roberto Firmino’s strike turned the match on its head. Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah then both scored before half-time as Liverpool raced into a 4-1 lead. Firmino completed his hat-trick after the break with a penalty. Speaking to BBC Match of the Day, Klopp said has spoken of his summer signing and  “Fabinho hit two very average passes and he was shaky in the next couple of moments. That can happen – it’s all part of the process. Football is a game full of mistakes and it’s how you deal with it. Then we could bring Jordan Henderson on and he was so fresh. Arsenal didn’t have a lot of chances but that allowed us to close all the space in midfield.” Liverpool are now nine points clear at the top of the Premier League table and face defending champions Manchester City on Thursday evening.
