Journalist says Liverpool want to sign Bundesliga youngster next summer with a club-record £80m fee

Liverpool have targeted Jude Bellingham for the next summer transfer window, according to Daily Star journalist Jeremy Cross. The former Birmingham youngster has been previously linked with the move to Anfield, however, ended up joining Borussia Dortmund last year. Now Cross claims the Reds want to sign the England international next summer with a club-record £80m deal. The journalist added that Bellingham is Jurgen Klopp's number one target, and the club are believed to be in a more favorable position to secure the teenager's transfer than the rivals Manchester United.
