Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu has opened up on Philippe Coutinho's future at the club amid transfer links.
Joining the Catalan giants back in 2018, the Brazil international has struggled at Camp Nou, later being loaned to Bayern Munich.
Barcelona have already announced their new manager Ronald Koeman, who was appointed following the club's shocking defeat to Germany champions in the Champions League. Meanwhile, Coutinho's loan spell is nearing its end, and Bartomeu has given an update on the player's future, speaking in a lengthy interview with
Barcelona TV.
The club president said:
"The head coach will make the decision. If he wants him to continue, next year he will play with us."
