Jose Mourinho has hinted that Tottenham might be his last job in England.
The Portuguese manager was appointed as Spurs boss on Wednesday after Mauricio Pochettino had been sacked as Tottenham have suffered quite poor start to the season being in the 14
th place in the Premier League standings.
When asked whether it was possible for Mourinho to not manage another English club in future, as he has also managed Chelsea and Manchester United, he replied:
“I’d love that to be the case. I would love to stay for many years. I say ‘many years’, but I know realistically how football is. If I could do a Mauricio for five-and-a-half years, it would be amazing. I would be 61 - then 10 more years. (I’d maybe manage) Vitoria Setubal in Portugal. Maybe (this is) the last job (in England), yeah.”
Tottenham are set to face West Ham United on Saturday, being the first clash for Mourinho as Spurs head coach.
