Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho has targeted former Manchester United star Marouane Fellaini for the January transfer window.
The 32-year-old found his playing time decreased at Old Trafford, following Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s appointment as the Red Devils manager.
Fellaini moved from Untied to Shandong in China at the end of the January transfer window. However, according to Les Sports, Mourinho hopes to get reunited with his former player.
The Belgian midfielder’s contract expires on December 2021 with the option of signing an additional year, but he will not be playing until at least at the end of February when the Chinese football season begins again.
Mourinho’s side has already stabled the midfield with the arrive of Tanguy Ndombele and Giovani Lo Celso in summer to supplement Harry Winks, Eric Dier and Moussa Sissoko.
However, the Spurs manager is eager to bring the Belgian player back to the Premier League.
