Jose Mourinho has revealed how he reacted to Tottenham's collapse in yesterday's Premier League clash against West Ham.
Spurs were leading the race in the first half of the game, with Son Heung-min and Harry Kane scoring three goals for the North London club. However, things have changed in the second half, when the own goal of Davinson Sánchez was followed by the equalizer of West Ham's Manuel Lanzini.
Despite the shocking comeback from the rivals, Mourinho insists he stayed calm in the dressing room.
“In this moment I say nothing,” he told the club's
official website.
“I don’t like to speak with the players after matches, especially when bad things happen. I don’t like to analyse or discuss. I prefer them to go home and we’ll speak tomorrow.”
Tottenham are now sitting on the 6th place of the Premier League table. Their next rivals will be LASK in the Europa League group stage.
