Jose Mourinho reveals Tottenham's Harry Winks transfer plans amid Valencia links

Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho has ruled out letting Harry Winks leave this month - but opened the door to Gedson Fernandes leaving. La Liga side Valencia are interested in taking England midfielder Winks on loan but Mourinho insisted that is impossible. Speaking during his press conference on Tuesday, Mourinho said: “What do I have to say to stop with this talk? I told already. He’s going nowhere. What more do you want me to say? He played the last matches. He didn’t play one when it was a decision to play with other players who are not basically playing many minutes. “Tomorrow he is selected again. And if somebody is speaking with other clubs, my advice is - don’t lose your time. Don’t lose your time because he is going nowhere.” Winks has featured in Tottenham’s last three Premier League games but was not in the squad for the FA Cup win over Marine. Mourinho instead gave Fernandes a rare start - but the Spurs boss admits his loan move from Benfica could still be cancelled this month due to a lack of playing time. Spurs boss said: “If he stays, I am happy. He is a good player. When we need him, we have some quality quickly coming from him. “I would like him to stay but we are not selfish and we also think about the player and the father club.” Source- Daily Star Join us on Telegram!
