Defender says he would have absolutely love to stay at Tottenham, two years after leaving

Former Tottenham man Nick Tsaroulla has admitted he wishes he could have stayed at the North London club but he is convinced that "everything happens for a reason". The 21-year-old Spurs academy player was let go two years ago, following the injury he suffered due to a car crash. After the accident, there were doubts over the player's professional career. However, now he continues his spell at at Crawley Town, and scored a brilliant goal in the FA Cup match against Leeds United. “I just want to enjoy my time at Crawley and do everything I can for this club. Maybe everything does happen for a reason,” Tsaroulla said. “I would have loved to have stayed on at Spurs and played there but those lessons and what happened … I was able to do what I did against Leeds.”
