Former Tottenham man Nick Tsaroulla has admitted he wishes he could have stayed at the North London club but he is convinced that "everything happens for a reason".
The 21-year-old Spurs academy player was let go two years ago, following the injury he suffered due to a car crash.
After the accident, there were doubts over the player's professional career. However, now he continues his spell at at Crawley Town, and scored a brilliant goal in the FA Cup match against Leeds United.
“I just want to enjoy my time at Crawley and do everything I can for this club. Maybe everything does happen for a reason,” Tsaroulla said.
“I would have loved to have stayed on at Spurs and played there but those lessons and what happened … I was able to do what I did against Leeds.”
