Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher selected their Premier League Team of the Decade, and both went for former Manchester City star Vincent Kompany and Liverpool’s Virgil Van Dijk.
It means both left out John Terry, Rio Ferdinand and Nemanja Vidic, all of whom are Premier League greats but were better in the 2000s than the 2010s.
Terry posted a message on Carragher’s Instagram, where he posted an image of his team, listing all of his credentials this decade.
He wrote: “🤔🤔🤔 09/10 🏆 14/15 🏆 played every minute of every game! Only the 5th player EVER to do that! 16/17 🏆”
