Paul Pogba responds to reports he’s faking injury to force transfer away

Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has taken to Instagram to seemingly shoot down claims he’s faking his ankle injury. Pogba is said to intensifying his efforts to force through a January move to Real Madrid. Pogba was linked with Real Madrid during the summer but remained at United. However, he has struggled with an ankle injury since September. Speaking on radio show Tiempo de Juego , journalist Paco Gonzalez claimed that the 26-year-old has already fully recovered from his ankle injury, but has asked not to play. Sources close to Manchester United reportedly confirmed Gonzales’ claims. After the claims were made in the Spanish press he was 'faking' his injury, it was no surprise the French international took to social media to hit back at the reports. Sharing clips on his Instagram account, Pogba can first be seen with his right ankle still in supportive strapping two weeks on from having his cast removed. In the same video, he can also be seen sporting an unimpressed look on his face, showing his frustration either at still being sidelined or the reports from Spain. Source- The Mirror
