Jamie Carragher criticises Jurgen Klopp for what he did during Everton draw

Liverpool and Everton dropped points in goalless draw mean Manchester City are now outright leaders by a point with nine matches remaining for each side in the Premier League run-in. Jamie Carragher criticises Jurgen Klopp for what he did during Everton draw Daniel Sturridge was left warming the bench as the Reds failed to break down their neighbours, with forwards Sadio Mane and Divock Origi making way for Adam Lallana and Roberto Firmino. Carragher said: "Jurgen Klopp is saluting the Liverpool supporters but I do think there should have been more of an attacking threat from Liverpool with the substitutions. "You look at the scenes and the crowd, how happy Everton are to get a draw. But for Liverpool, in any other season, a draw away at Everton isn’t the end of the world. "But the stage that we’re at now, three games in a week and you thought seven points out of nine would be a great week. It’s five points and now Liverpool have to hope Man City drop something. "It’s still not over, there’s a long way to go and lots of points will be dropped at different times."
