James Pearce claims youngster viewed as Xherdan Shaqiri replacement at Liverpool

James Pearce claims Liverpool are not expected to find a replacement to Xherdan Shaqiri. Instead, they will rely on the club young prospects. Shaqiri has been heavily linked with the move away from Anfield, with the player himself asking for an exit in search of a regular game. The Reds have already agreed to sell the Switzerland international to Lyon for a £9.5 million fee. According to Pearce, the club teenager Harvey Elliott is viewed as Shaqiri's replacement for the Premier League and Champions League games. Another youngster Kaide Gordon is likely to play in the domestic cup competitions.             Join us on Telegram!/ Follow us on Twitter!
