'Imminent' - Ian Wright believes Newcastle United are set to complete deal very soon

Ian Wright has suggested that Todd Cantwell's transfer to Newcastle United is 'imminent'. According to The Telegraph report, the Magpies have been in talks to sign Cantwell and the fee is likely to be between £15million and £20million. Speaking on the Kelly & Wrighty Show, Wright has claimed that the reason for the 23-year-old's absence is probably his future move to Newcastle.
“They’re not playing him, perhaps because a deal to Newcastle might be on. I don’t know if it will happen, I believe it will.   "I do believe that for him not to be playing, a deal is imminent,” said the Arsenal legend.   “A player like him, I think he is totally disillusioned. When he first came up, I got James Maddison vibes.   "The way he plays, creativity, confidence. You have to feel that he is not playing because a deal is likely to happen.”
