Antonio Cassano has urged Romelu Lukaku not to leave Inter Milan for Manchester City as he thinks the Belgian star wouldn’t fit in under Pep Guardiola.
Sergio Aguero is set to leave Etihad at the end of the season, while the club will be looking to sign a replacement for the Argentina international.
Lukaku has been recently linked with the move away from the Serie A club, while according to
The Athletic, Guardiola's side are considering a summer move for the attacker.
However, speaking about Lukaku's possible transfer to current Premier League leaders, Cassano told
Bobo TV on Twitch:
“If Guardiola takes him, I won’t support him any more. What does Lukaku have to do with (Pep’s) idea of the game?”
The Belgian man is a former Everton and Manchester United player and was described as a “
world-class” talent by Guardiola during his playing spell with the Toffees.
