Ilkay Gundogan speaks out on Erling Haaland ahead of Champions League clash

  Manchester City are preparing to face Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League quarter-finals second-leg on Thursday. The first game between the clubs ended in City's 2-1 victory. Ahead of the game, City midfielder Ilkay Gundogan gave a press conference during which he was asked about Dortmund star Erling Haaland. Haaland has caught the attention of top European clubs following his impressive form. During this season, the 20-year-old has made overall 34 appearances in which he has scored 33 goals and provided 10 assists. Ilkay Gundogan on Erling Haaland: "He's a great talent, exciting. Scores a lot, physically strong, quick, determined. He goes into spaces that may hurt but he hurts every team he faces. The fact his numbers are already outstanding, in the league and in Europe, is incredible... "The fact he's so young shows he'll have a great future. I don't know him, but it seems he has the right mindset to climb to the top."
