Matteo Berrettini has admitted that Novak Djokovic is not stronger than Rafa Nadal and vice versa.
The Italian star has revealed what it’s like to play against the two of the greatest tennis players in history.
The world No. 1 and 5 are the only players to able to defeat Berrettini at Grand Slam level last year.
Having been asked who was stronger on court, the 25-year-old responded to la Repubblica.
“I swear, there is no answer,” he said.
After all, I have lost many times against both of them.”
“Nadal is a southpaw and takes you wherever he wants, giving you the impression of letting you play more and in the end he beats you.
“Djokovic just deactivates you, he’s a great counter-attacker. The two of them, along with Federer, are the greatest tennis players of all time, sublime athletes.
“This is enough to understand what it means to have them in front of you.”
