"I learned from": Liverpool target says he has studied Diogo Jota

Liverpool are interested in signing Wolves winger Pedro Neto for the summer transfer window, according to 90Min. The 21-year-old has impressed under the Premier League sides' previous coach Nuno Espirito Santo, while he also used to play with the Reds' star Diogo Jota at Molineux Stadium. And back in February this year, the Portuguese professional has admitted that he has learned from his former teammate in the past. “We’re very different players, he was more in the top third closer to goal – if you cross he’s the guy that finishes the action,” Neto said about Jota. “I remember in training competing with him, but I do a lot of crosses and Jota is the guy that finishes. “I learned from him to be in the penalty area to be the second player (after the striker) to get on the end of crosses. I was unlucky with the cross by Adama (against Leicester), but this is another thing I’m trying to improve, be in the box and score more.”
