How Spain’s strongest lineup would look like in EURO 2020

Spain have announced their 24-man squad for the upcoming Euro 2020 this week. The announcement surprised so many fans, as no Real Madrid player was included in Luis Enrique's squad, including Spain captain Sergio Ramos. The former Barcelona manager explained that most of the Los Blancos players didn't have their best season and not at their best form. And with the European Championship on the horizon, here are the strongest ways La Furia Roja can line up this summer.

4-1-4-1 formation:

Unai Simon will start in between the sticks, with Jordi Alba, Pau Torres, Aymeric Laporte and Diego Llorente forming the defence. Rodri will team up with Ferran Torres, Koke, Thiago Alcantara and Marcos Llorente in the midfield. Alvaro Morata will complete the lineup in front of the attack.

4-1-4-1 #2 formation:

The goalkeeper position will not change, while Jose Gaya, Laporte, Garcia and Cesar Azpilicueta form the defence. In the midfield Sergio Busquets will team up with Mikel Oyarzabal, Dani Olmo, Thiago Alcantara and Ferran Torres, as Morata complete the attack.

4-3-3 formation:

Again Simon in between the sticks, Jordi Alba, Torres, Laporte and Azpilicueta in the defence. Rodri, Pedri and Thiago will form the midfield and Oyarzabal, Torres and Gerard Moreno will complete the attack.     Spain are in the Group E with Sweden Poland and Slovakia, with their first game set on Monday, June 14 against Sweden in Seville.
