How Pep Guardiola reacted to Ferran Torres' request to leave for Barcelona

Ferran Torres is seeking a way back to Spain after requesting the board to let him go as he is homesick. Torres has asked Pep Guardiola to let him leave Manchester City in order to join Xavi's revolution at Barcelona. Guardiola's reaction was quite unexpected as he seems ready to allow the youngster's departure. The Catalan boss has made it clear that he will onlt allow the Spaniard go if Barca and City can agree on terms of an appropriate offer. As Mundo Deportivo states, Xavi has prioritised Ferran and Dani Olmo to strenghthen his attack at Camp Nou. Most notably, the Blaugrana director of football Mateu Alemany and the forward's agent, Hector Paris, have a strong relationship, which makes the transfer more possible.
