Thiago Alcantara has been heavily linked with a move to Liverpool.
Bayern Munich have confirmed the Spain international is looking to leave the club a year before the expiry of his contract.
With a fee of around £35million and possessing undoubted quality, the former Barcelona man would arguably be an exciting addition, even if it does appear slightly unlikely.
This is how Liverpool could line up with Thiago Alcantara:

Fabinho may start matches in defence alongside Virgil van Dijk due to the fact that he won't really need to do much defending. With question marks over the future of Dejan Lovren, it could be that Klopp uses Fabinho as another centre-back option should the Croatian depart.
Thiago could then be added in midfield, although it is also worth adding that Gini Wijnaldum's contract negotiations are worth keeping an eye on.
