How Kylian Mbappe 'responded' to Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp phoning his dad

Le10Sport.com claims, Paris Saint Germain star Kylian Mbappe was reportedly "flattered" that Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp called his father to confirm his interest in signing him. Liverpool have been linked with Mbappe in recent weeks. The France international would cost Liverpool a huge fee of around £250million, which would make the transfer unrealistic. But should Sadio Mane leave, the club could, in theory, reinvest the money in Mbappe. According to Le10sport.com, Klopp recently spoke to Mbappe's dad Wilfried to discuss signing his son for Liverpool. They are now reporting that Mbappe was 'flattered' when his dad informed him of Liverpool's interest. Mbappe's Paris Saint-Germain team-mate Ander Herrera, meanwhile, thinks the World Cup winner is happy in France and has no plans to leave. "Mbappe and Neymar are still at PSG and even more so with the situation that we are currently in," Herrera told to COPE's Tiempo de Juego. "I had dinner with Neymar before the quarantine and he is very involved with the project. He told me that he has never been so happy in Paris.
