On 18 April 12 European clubs from
England (Manchester United, Manchester City, Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal, Tottenham),
Spain (Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid, Barcelona) and
Italy (Juventus, AC Milan, Inter Milan) have announced about forming the European Super League that could see the founding members taking part in the competition every year, despite their results.
UEFA has warned that the Super League club players will be banned from taking part in international competitions. This means that countries could have their squads affected by UEFA's decision.
