Bayern Munich president Uli Hoeness has revealed that there was a breakdown between players and coaching stuff.
Recently Niko Kovac offered his resignation from the post of Bayern Munich head coach.
Since that Hans-Dieter Flick has been named as a caretaker at the German club.
"There have certainly been currents within the team that wanted Kovac gone," Hoeness told ZDF Sport Studio .
"That's why the leadership reacted accordingly."
Bayern yesterday won 4-0 over Borussia Dortmund and currently they are 3rd in the Bundesliga table.
