David Moyes has made praising comments on Kurt Zouma ahead of the Brentford clash.
Zouma has truly been impressive in defence since joining West Ham this summer.
As
per Claret and Hugh, to the question whether the 26-year-old's national team omission will affect his performances, the Hammers boss answered:
“I would hope not.
“Because that’s why we are trying to challenge the top teams because I want to be right there at the top and those players can show they are good enough to play for the international teams.
Moyes has made a huge compliment on the Frenchman, claiming that he has been a ‘colossus’ at the back for the club.
“Kurt has played really really well for us. He’s been a colossus in the games he has played so his form will not go unnoticed. I think it is a National League game so maybe that is a reason for it.
“Maybe it is the quality of the centre-halves France have got. When I signed him I knew we were taking a French international centre-half who have an incredible quality of centre-halves and he has not disappointed us from what we have seen so far.”
