'I talked to Moyes - Youngster believes he will make his West Ham debut soon

Frederik Alves is convinced he will be fighting for a first-team spot at West Ham as soon as he returns from his loan spell at Sunderland. Speaking to BOLD, the 21-year-old admitted that he had spoken to David Moyes, claiming that he's quite confident right now.
“This summer, I managed to have pre-season with West Ham, where I played insanely well and was also better than Angelo Ogbonna and Michael Dawson, who I played with,” said self-confident Alves.   “I have talked to (manager David) Moyes about some things I have to learn. And, if I add them to my game, I don’t think I’m far from starting.
The youngster is currently aiming to become the 'best defender in League One' so that his chances of rejoining the Hammers get bigger.
“This year, I have to be the best defender in League One. I have to smash that league and use my stay here (at Sunderland) as a springboard into the West Ham team.”
