Paul Robinson has tipped Tottenham to complete the signing of Swansea City defender Joe Rodon before Friday’s transfer deadline. Spurs are close to signing Rodon before the domestic transfer window closes, though the two sides have not reached an agreement yet. Amid the transfer links, Robinson has shared his thoughts, claiming the Lilywhites' potential move for the 22-year-old tells al lot about the club's current defender Eric Dier. “That transfer tells you a lot about Eric Dier, the fact that they are looking for another centre half,” he told Football Insider. “It is a position that they have needed to strengthen in for a while. “Joe Rodon has been touted for a move to Spurs and I think that is a move that will get pushed over the line before the deadline. He is on international duty this week but I am confident that Joe Rodon will be a Spurs player by Friday.”
