Gareth Southgate provides Harry Kane injury update ahead of England vs Denmark

England manager Gareth Southgate has spoken out on Tottenham star Harry Kane's injury. Kane didn't play in England's friendly game against Wales and came on for the last 25 minutes in Nations League 2-1 victory over Belgium. England are preparing to face Denmark in the Nations League on Wednesday, October 14. And speaking ahead of the game, Southgate said: "He would have started the last game [vs Belgium] but hadn’t had enough training time, really. He was obviously fine during the game. "So, he’s fit, available. I didn’t really understand the stories that have been run. He hasn’t had an injury. "He was feeling muscle soreness, delayed muscle soreness, which often can happen to athletes. But there was no injury at any point, so our issue with Harry before Sunday’s game was to be able to perform at the highest level. "Now he’s got another additional couple of days training and it’s not even an issue." source - Metro
