"He has a chance": Mikel Arteta hints he might start Arsenal man vs Tottenham after last night

Mikel Arteta has hinted that Ainsley Maitland-Niles has a chance to play against Tottenham at the weekend. Gunners celebrated a 4 - 1 win over the Europa league rivals, Rapid Wien, last night, with the youngster catching the eye by his performance. Arteta was asked whether the England international could break into the club's Premier League team ahead of the North London derby. “What he’s done today the great thing with Ainsley is that he can fill various positions and that’s a great thing to have around the squad," the manager said. “He’s played on the left as a wing back, he’s played on the right, he’s played as a holding midfielder, he can play as an attacking midfielder. “And again, the sort of performances tonight helps, and he has a chance to play like everybody else.”
