Arsenal may have found new Mesut Ozil to solve Mikel Arteta's attacking problems

Arsenal may have found their new Mesut Ozil in Emile Smith Rowe to relieve pressure on Mikel Arteta and his attacking problems. The Gunners have suffered from a lack of creativity since Mesut Ozil was axed from all playing squads for this season. However, the Europa League has been a different story with Arsenal dispatching their fairly weak group stage opponents with ease to secure their place in the knockout rounds. And one man who has impressed in recent weeks is attacking-midfielder Smith Rowe, who scored in the 4-0 win over Rapid Vienna on Thursday night. Once again brought on as a substitute, the youngster looked very impressive and could be in line for a league start soon, though Arteta has admitted that he does not want to rush Smith Rowe onto the big stage. Smith Rowe revealed over the summer that he is a big fan of the way Ozil operates, and that he has learned a lot from spending time with him on the training pitch. “At Arsenal, I look up to Mesut Ozil a lot,” said the 20-year-old. “I watch him in training and the movement he has and the little touches he does. “For me to train with him every day, I can’t think of anything better.” Source- Daily Star Join us on Telegram!
