Manchester City are prepared to make Harry Maguire the world’s most expensive defender and pay him a huge salary to boot, according to Daily Mirror. City are prepared to pay £80million asking price for Maguire and that will surpass the £75million that Liverpool paid Southampton for Virgil van Dijk in January 2018. Pep Guardiola’s side have also offered the England centre-back a staggering £280,000-a-week to quit Leicester and move to the Etihad. Should Muller accept he would be City’s second-highest paid player behind Kevin De Bruyne. He would be earning over £1.2 million a month, £40,000-a-day, £1700 per hour and  £28 a minute.
