Gilmour, Skipp, Foden, Greenwood, Jones among 23 Premier League players on 100-man shortlist for 2020 Golden Boy award

Chelsea starlet Billy Gilmour, Olivier Skipp of Tottenham, Machester City's Phil Foden, Mason Greenwood from Manchester United and Curtis Jones of Liverpool are among the 23 Premier League players on 100-man shortlist for 2020 Golden Boy award.  The prestigious accolade recognises the best player in the world aged 21 or under. Last year, Atletico Madrid hotshot Joao Felix won the trophy.  Only four players have won the Golden Boy award while playing in the Premier League. Wayne Rooney (2004), Anderson (2008), Mario Balotelli (2010) and Raheem Sterling (2014) have all been grateful recipients in the past. Borussia Dortmund duo Jadon Sancho and Erling Haaland, along with Bayern Munich defender Alphonso Davies, are favourites to win the award this year.
