Giannis Antetokounmpo reveals why he opted to miss Bucks games

Milwaukee Bucks picked up a 109-120 win over Atlanta Hawks on Friday. Giannis Antetokounmpo played against Hawks for the first time since missing the last six games for the Bucks through injury. The Greek Freak recorded 15 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists in 25 minutes in Friday's game. After the game Giannis explained why he opted to miss sic games in a row. “I felt pain. Like in the Portland game, I was in pain. Before the game, after the game, while I was playing the game. When I tried to play in Golden State, too, I was in pain. “So, you can still play in pain, but at the end of the day it’s going to get worse over time. The goal is to, we all know what the goal is as a team, is to go all the way. At the end of the day, you realize if it’s worth it or not to risk it now. He added, “So, if you asked me a year ago, two years ago, I’d say yeah, it’s probably worth it, I don’t like missing games, I’ll play, I don’t care about pain. But at the end of the day I try to be positive, this year I’ve tried to be more mature so I feel that it as the right thing to do to stay a little bit out.” Source- Essentially Sports Follow us on Twitter!
