Giannis Antetokounmpo provides knee injury update ahead of 2021-22 NBA season

GiannisAntetokounmpo has provided an injury update on his knee issue ahead of 2021/22 NBA season. The Milwaukee Bucks superstar opened up about the hyperextended left knee injury he suffered during Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals, in his recent interview with COSMOTE TV. The issue kept Giannis out for Games and 6 of the series as Milwaukee closed it out against the Atlanta Hawks, but he was able to return in time for the NBA Finals against the Phoenix Suns. The Greek Freak revealed that his ability to quickly heal and play in the Finals “wasn’t a miracle” but a result of the way he worked hard and took care of his body, he admitted he was playing in pain at the time and he’s still enduring some issues until today.
“I shouldn’t have played in Game 1 of the NBA Finals. I was in a lot of pain. I’m still hurting. But I’ll be okay,” the Bucks leader shared, per Dionysis Aravantinos of Hoops Hype.   “I’m still hurting. Yesterday was the first tough practice I had since Game 6 of the NBA Finals. I’m hurting a lot, but I’ll be okay.”
