Gazzetta Dello Sport: Juventus offer a star midfielder in exchange for Jorginho
Juventus and Chelsea could exchange players this summer. The Italian media outlet La Gazzetta Dello Sport reports Juventus are offering Federico Bernardeschi for Jorginho.
The Bianconeri head coach Maurizio Sarri is keen on the reunion with his former player.
Sarri has coached Jorginho from 2015, at Napoli and Chelsea. 28-year-old central midfielder is Juventus coach’s favourite player. He would reportedly be happy to replace Miralem Pjanic with Jorginho. Reports suggest the Bosnian international will be free to leave Juventus this summer.
Jorginho signed for Chelsea in 2018. He scored 7 goals and provided 2 assists this season under Frank Lampard.
Earlier, the player’s agent Joao Santos didn’t rule out a move to Serie A, saying they will consider offers from big clubs in Italy.
