England coach Gareth Southgate has provided an injury update on Tottenham star Harry Kane after the 27-year-old reportedly picked up a muscle injury during training ahead of Sunday's Nations League clash with Belgium.
Kane started the game against Belgium on the bench and came on as a substitute in the 66th minute as he replaced Dominic Calvert-Lewin. The Three Lions celebrated a 2-1 victory as Marcus Rashford and Mason Mount got their names on the scoresheet.
Asked for an update on Kane, Southgate explained: "He started training Wednesday and had a bit of what he felt was cramp, so he’s had muscle fatigue basically.
"He’s not injured and he’s there perhaps for later in the game.
"He seems more confident in how he feels, but he hasn’t had a lot of training time on the pitch this week."
