Manchester United star Fred asked to be left out of the club’s trip to Dubai because his partner is heavily pregnant. Manchester United traveled to Dubai this week for some warm weather traiing as they prepare for Sunday’s Premier League clash against Tottenham. However, Fred was a notable absentee from the squad and the Daily Mail claim the midfielder stayed in Manchester to be with his partner, Monique Salum, who is expecting their first child together. Fred had his first start under Solskjaer in United’s 2-0 FA Cup third round win against Reading on Saturday but he failed to impress and gave the ball away on many occasions.
