Frank Lampard sets out Chelsea’s stance over Wilfried Zaha transfer in January window

Frank Lampard has already made it clear that he will not be willing to discuss individual targets. Speaking after Chelsea let a lead slip to draw 1-1 away to Brighton & Hove Albion, the head coach was asked about speculation regarding a move for Crystal Palace's Wilfried Zaha and the potential of striker Olivier Giroud being sent to Selhurst Park as part of a deal. "I wouldn’t talk about Zaha and the idea of that deal is something I have never even considered," he said. "As I say I won’t talk about Zaha because he is not a player of ours," Lampard added. "If we have to do business we will do it in the way we see fit to try and make us better and that’s behind closed doors as opposed to just announcing who we might want to bring in."
