Frank Lampard reacts to Chelsea fans' banner which sends clear message to Roman Abramovich

Chelsea boss Frank Lampard has reacted to Blues fans urging Roman Abramovich to keep him at the club. Lampard's future at Chelsea is currently under pressure. The Blues are currently 8th in the league table with 11 points behind the league leaders Manchester United. And Chelsea supporters are currently split over the fact of whether Lampard should stay or be sacked. Some fans who support Lampard have placed a new banner at Stamford Bridge which reads: “In Frank we trust. Then. Now. Forever.” “Players will always make you a good or bad or in between manager," said Lampard, when he was asked about the banner “So you have to have a buy in from the dressing room. “My opinion is football is whatever percent tactics but much bigger percentage of environment and drive and positivity and desire and all those things that create the basics of football so that’s important. “In terms of the banner, I absolutely appreciate the fans that put together to create the banner. “I think everyone who knows me or watched me as a player or manager knows how I feel about this club so I appreciate it very much.” Lampard continued: “My concern is not the pressure on me because I can deal with it because I’ve been in football a long, long time as a player at a top club so I understand how it goes.”   source - Express / Join us on Telegram
